Skype has just updated their mobile application for Apple iOS users, Skype 3.0 now supporting VIDEO CHAT!

For those of you who remember, a few months ago Skype video services were available on Android OS mobile devices through the use of Fring, a mobile video chat and messaging client. Fring and Skype eventually had a falling out because of alleged misuse of Skypes terms. Many had asked why Skype hadn't just come out with their own mobile video chat option, but supposedly they were giving app developers the go-ahead to produce apps that Skype would allow to use their services. It is obvious that Skype may had just wanted to defer development costs, which is understandable, apparently they now have realized if you want applications done properly you've got to do them yourself. Hopefully they will extend the new options to other mobile OS systems and devices. We'll see how long it takes them to realize that.

Oovoo now offers mobile users the ability to video chat and message over their wireless carriers network, absolutely free. Currently the mobile service is only offered to specific devices operating Androids OS (2.2 recommended). The geniuses at Designcoop, a German based design company, have created a closeless case.The ingenious product comes in one of two colors, matted black or shiny white. Apparently they've decide to keep it simple with both color ways sporting a bright orange elastic bands at both ends, which secretly are the key in the functionality of this wonderful innovation.

A LITTLE HEAT IN MIAMI

Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh are the new big three in Miami. With a record of 9 and 8 the big three has played about 1/5 of their long season thus far. The question is, are they meeting everyones expectations.. especially their own?

Lebron James has seemingly become the focal point of the Miami Heat offense. While Wade and Bosh have been tottering in terms of offensive productivity. Many believe the team is well on their way to achieve much anticipated dominance, due to the raw talent present in they’re three best players. They believe with time and adjustment for each player and their respective new situations they will conquer. Others believe the team is not on it’s way to dominance, but a much less successful season relative to the hype and allure of their much anticipated coexistence.

Arguably, the major issue that has been argued is that each player must have the ball in hand to spark offense within themselves majority of the time allotted to them on the court. It seems as though, from watching the big three in action, when one has the ball to spark the offense the other two struggle to get involved off-ball. Viewers and fans have been victims of watching terribly sloppy offensive executions that through the graces of remarkable talent and perseverance achieved success.

In the long-run, it is hard to say Miami will be able to triumph without cohesiveness on the offensive end within the big three and also the rest of the role players on the team. We can hardly say we’re ecstatic about Miami’s early season performance, but we have much of the season left to really justify a well rounded opinion about how hot the heat is in Miami.

A hardware upgrade that we’ve been hearing that users would like is a better facial recognition system for low light conditions. Away from that and a few software upgrades that users would like to see in the future such as, Netflix integration, full Xbox Dashboard compatibility and group Kinect video Chat, we’re Ecstatic about Xbox 360 Kinect!
